Amigo's By The Dock: Authentic Mexican Dining with Stunning Lakeside Views in Winchester, TN

This is a new restaurant at Tim's Ford Marina. Amigo's is spacious, and clean. In a beautiful setting. There is indoor, and outdoor seating. We were greeted and seated right away. Drinks, and chips and salsa came out quickly. I had the Pollo feliz, which is grilled chicken topped with queso cheese, with a side of rice and beans. It came out very hot and delicious. We also had a guacamole appetizer which was fabulous. Please check it out! There is plenty of parking.

Absolutely phenomenal experience at Amigos by the Dock!…EVERYTIME! Our server, Natalie, was absolutely the best—friendly, attentive, and made us feel right at home. She took such great care of us and made the whole meal even more enjoyable. The food is hands-down the best Mexican cuisine in the area—fresh ingredients, bold flavors, and a menu full of delicious options. Every bite tasted homemade and full of love. And the location? Being right on the water adds the perfect touch. Great food, amazing views, and outstanding service—what more could you ask for? We’ll definitely be back!

My wife and I had the best experience last night at Amigo’s. They were short staffed, giving servers a little time off before the big lake rush this 4th of July weekend. They waitresses that were working were flooded with customers for dinner. It was a little hectic. But I’ve never seen a group of waitresses and other employees hustle like this group did. They were literally almost running. And the host maintained her composure and even pitched in cleaning tables and anything else that needed done. We were seated after a short 20 minute wait, and received the best service we’ve ever had. And the food and drinks were amazing! It very easily could have been a bad experience, but the crew insured it was great. I wish we knew our server’s name, but they were all hustling. So great job to everyone. We love effort that goes above and beyond.

Excellent service!! The owner told us to enjoy our dinner despite the fact that we showed up minutes to closing. The food was beyond delicious! The service was excellent! I can't say excellent enough. If you don't have any luck on Tim's Ford Lake, you will have a delicious excellent dinner at Amigo's By The Dock!

Three of us came for lunch on their 5th day open. We were seated immediately and received our drinks within two minutes. The server was friendly and fast. The chips were warm and the salsa was some of the best we've ever had! Our food came quickly and looked amazing. The portions were large and the taste was excellent!! I would return just for the atmosphere but the quality of the meal is a compelling draw to come back sooner than I usually would. I highly recommend this new restaurant and I expect it will get even better!!

Wonderful place to eat! Extremely clean and fantastic service!! We will definitely be coming back every couple of weeks. The lake views were beautiful. I had the soft chicken tacos and my husband got some grande burrito with steak and they were both delicious! I highly recommend this place for dinner and a relaxing environment.
